Readers are those who proclaim God\u2019s Word at weekday, weekend and at Holy Day Masses and at special services. Good public speaking skills and a passion for the Word of the Lord are required for this ministry.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer Position<\/th>Adult Readers<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
Required of the Volunteer<\/th>Practicing Catholic, Middle School age or older. Must exhibit high quality reading skills with ability to proclaim well the Word of God. Love for Scripture and willingness to reflect on, learn and grow in its message.<\/td><\/tr>
Experience Necessary<\/th>No<\/td><\/tr>
Training Required<\/th>Audition required. <\/td><\/tr>
When is Training<\/th>Scheduled as needed.<\/td><\/tr>
Time Commitment:<\/th>Weekend lectors read once every 3-4 weeks. Must be committed to spend needed time in preparation before each assignment.<\/td><\/tr>
