Special Masses

Holy Day Masses are celebrated with special schedules.  Watch Upcoming Events.
Civic Holiday Masses are celebrated at 8:30 am on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Veterans’ Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving, those who attend are encouraged to bring a food item that will be part of their Thanksgiving dinner to be blessed at Mass.
A Mass for the Sick and Homebound is celebrated on the second Thursday of every month for those sick and homebound parishioners who are unable to attend Mass regularly. A luncheon and entertainment follow the Mass. Twice a year this Mass includes an Anointing of the Sick. This Mass is for those who are seriously ill at the time, those who are temporarily ill due to major surgery or other convalescent illness, regardless of age, those who are emotionally troubled, regardless of age, those whose health is seriously impaired by illness or advanced age, and seriously ill children.
A Mass of Remembrance is celebrated in November for the deceased relatives and friends of our parishioners. It supports all those who have lost a loved one during the year. Call the Parish Office at 727.726.8477 for information about how to have your loved ones’ names announced and for the date and time of the Mass.
Chrism Mass is celebrated on Tuesday during Holy Week at the Cathedral of St. Jude. At this Mass the priests of the diocese renew their commitment to priestly service and the holy oils to be used throughout the year in Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick and Ordination are blessed. All are invited.
Red Mass is an annual Mass sponsored by the diocese for lawyers and their spouses.
