The Youth Ministry of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church is an accepting, welcoming and faith-filled community of young people who seek to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and share the joy of the Gospel – by using their gifts in loving service to their family, church, school, community and the world!

Ways the Youth of Espiritu Santo are Connecting with Jesus, Encountering the Gospel, and Living the Faith

  • Mass PARTICIPATION: Receiving Jesus in the Word & Eucharist… then being the model of Jesus for and seeing Jesus in EVERY person they encounter, unconditionally and with a servant heart!
  • Ministers of Hospitality / Livestream Ministry
  • Music Ministry
  • Altar servers
  • Sacristans
  • Lectors / Readers
  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion in Mass and to the sick and homebound
  • Prayer Leaders (Stations of the Cross, Stations of the Resurrection, Adoration, Devotions, Novenas, Rosary, Taizé, Reconciliation Prayer Service, Blessing of Animals, Seder Supper, Triduum, Advent by Candlelight, and more.
  • Religious Education, Catholic School, Sacrament Preparation and Faith Retreat participants, as well as volunteers assisting in younger grade level enrichment classes and gatherings.
  • Serving the underprivileged and in need through Saint Vincent DePaul Society, Pinellas Hope, Catholic Relief Services, Helping Hands Ministry, Pregnancy Centers, Kimberly Home, Peaceful Pro-Life Marches, Prison Ministry, Migrant Workers Support, Anti-Death Penalty Programs, among many other Social Justice causes.
  • Scout Troops, engaged in service projects for the parish and for the greater community.
  • Knights of Columbus helpers and participants for fish fries, dinner dances, free-throw basketball and hockey competitions.
  • Laudato si’ Team – Preservation and Restoration of the Earth & Environment, locally & globally. Includes helping with maintaining and decorating our own parish liturgical environment.
