Music Ministry

The Music Ministry is for men, women, teens and children who wish to praise the Lord through music and assist the gathered assembly to enter into full, conscious and active participation in the Mass. Vocalists and instrumentalists are welcome. Espiritu Santo has several groups:

6:00 pm Saturday Vigil Choir

Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00 pm and Saturday before Mass from 5:00 pm to 5:50 pm.

8:30 am Sunday Family Choir

The rehearsals are Mondays from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Membership is not limited to families. Children, teens, and adults participate. Instrumentalists are always welcome.

10:15 am Sunday Adult Choir

Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Participants include high school youth and adults.

Noon Sunday Ensemble

Rehearsals are on Sundays from 11:30-12:00 before Mass. Music reading skills are helpful for this ensemble due to limited rehearsal time.

Youth Mass Music Ministry

This worship band comprises singers and instrumentalists, from middle school up to adult, who provide music at the 6:00 pm Sunday Youth Mass. The band rehearses on Tuesday evenings.

Resurrection Singers

The Resurrection Singers are vocalists who share their gift of music with the assembly gathered to celebrate the life of a deceased loved one. The choir’s presence at Funerals and Memorial Masses encourages the assembly to participate more fully in the celebration of the liturgy and, as members of the parish community, offer comfort and healing to those who are grieving. Volunteers do not need to commit to every funeral service and do not need to be a member of a regular weekend choir. Some music experience is helpful due to limited rehearsal time.

Seasonal Choirs are formed for special occasions and include the Festival Choir which ministers at Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, the Triduum Choir which ministers at Holy Week Liturgies.
